Saxon Care Launches New Training Academy to Support Local Communities
— October 1, 2024We are excited to announce the launch of Saxon Care Academy.
Saxon Care Academy has been established to provide the same high-quality, professional training that we offer internally to our staff to external businesses and the wider community.
As an approved training centre, we are regulated and assessed externally to ensure the highest standards of training delivery. Our initial focus will be on offering comprehensive courses in first aid, manual handling and PEG training, which are crucial skills both for healthcare providers, employers and the local community.
This initiative also marks a significant step in our mission to support our local community, as we will be offering free training sessions to local charities and individuals who can benefit from our help and support. We recognise the invaluable contributions of local charities and community groups, and we are committed to offering complimentary training support to these organisations. By providing these vital services free of charge, we aim to help them enhance their operations and better serve their communities.
“We are thrilled to launch Saxon Care Academy and extend our support to the broader Wiltshire community,” said Jodie Wills, our Training Manager. “Our goal is to make professional training accessible and beneficial to everyone, from local businesses to the numerous charitable organisations that make such a difference in our community.”
Saxon Care Academy's courses are designed to be engaging and practical, ensuring that participants gain hands-on experience and confidence in their new skills. With our focus on both the professional and charitable sectors, we are excited about this initiative's positive impact across Wiltshire.
