A percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is a procedure to place a feeding tube. These feeding tubes are often called PEG tubes tubes. The tube allows you to receive nutrition directly through your stomach. This type of feeding is also known as enteral feeding or enteral nutrition. With Saxon Care Academy, you can become certified to deliver this procedure with confidence and dilligence.

COURSE INFORMATION
PEG feed & Medication Administration
The PEG training course is inclusive of many elements of training, which make up the certification for ‘PEG Feed & Medication Administration.’ Over a session that will last between 4-6 hours, our Training Manager will give an in-depth understanding of PEG, why it is needed, the laws that surround this procedure, how to safely administer feed and medications and what to do if something goes wrong.
