We look forward to hearing from you. Send us your request!
Would you like us to give you a call?
Here is some additional information that could help you with your questions.
What time of the day are your carers available?
Our regular hours in the morning start from 7am until 2pm and in the evening range from 4pm until 10pm, and we can provide visits from 30 minutes onwards, as well as assistance through the night too. Please visit our care options page for more information. or if you would like to make an enquiry, please contact us.
Can you provide help with medication?
All of our carers go through rigorous medication management training to enable us to help assist our clients with their medication needs. We can even source more specialist training to help with complex medication requirements too.
How will I recognise a Saxon Care Support Worker?
Our Carers wear a Saxon Care purple tunic and carry an identity badge with them too. Plus they are really smiley and helpful, so you can spot them from miles away!
Will I see the same support worker every day?
We will match you up with a small team of care workers and depending on your requirements, sometimes it is possible to see the same care worker for each visit. We do have to factor in things like holidays and days off for carers, so we have found that having a small team is the best way of ensuring we meet your needs
Can I get extra support at short notice?
We will always endeavour to provide extra support, no matter how short notice. As well as our office hours, our on-call department are available from 6am to 10pm at night to handle any requests you may have. This needs rewording to say we have an on-call available from 4.30 – 22.00 to deal with emergencies
Can you help with domestic support?
We’re more than happy to help with domestic tasks around the house as part of the service, and can help with household chores like laundry, ironing, dusting and hoovering and cleaning. Carers don’t carry their own cleaning equipment to do this, so you will need to have cleaning products and equipment in the house for them to use.
How do I make a change to my support?
We schedule regular reviews with you to ensure that everything is going smoothly and our service is meeting your needs, but we understand sometimes things happen at short notice too, which is why our team of co-ordinators are on hand 365 days a year to help in any way we can.
If you need to make a cancellation to a visit, then we ask for 24 hours notice as we ensure our carers either have alternative work or are paid for their time.
What if there is a change in my funding?
We work closely with Wiltshire Council, as well as other funding agencies, to help ensure that if you receive funding towards your care, or if there is a change in your funding, then this doesn’t affect the support your receive from us. If you’re unsure about the funding you receive in any way, don’t hesitate to contact us to see if we can help.
How do you recruit your support workers?
At Saxon Care we pride ourselves on the high standard of our staff and new recruits are no exception. Potential support workers go through a rigorous interview process, an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and barring service) check and are required to provide three references from previous employers too. New starters go through our training and induction processes and also start working under the watchful eye of one of our Key carers to ensure they meet our high standards.
How can I pay for my care?
You can pay via standing order or cheque. Unfortunately, at this point in time, we are not able to facilitate direct debit payments.
Compassionate Caregivers Who Get To Know Your Family
