For Caregivers and the community
PEG Feed & Medication Administration
A percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is a procedure to place a feeding tube. These feeding tubes are often called PEG tubes. A PEG allows a person to receive feed, fluids and medications directly into the stomach. This type of feeding is also known as enteral feeding or enteral nutrition. With Saxon Care Academy, you can become certified to deliver PEG care with confidence.
