Specialist Care Needs

We all make choices in life and it may be the decision of you or your loved one to remain at home when suffering from a specific or life-threatening or terminal illness. Staying at home provides the person with stability, reassurance, comfort and is often easier for family and friends to visit and provide support.

As a company we are proud to offer a very person centred support plan, designed to encompass and provide support for specific illness such as Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Injuries, Motor Neurone Disease, Strokes and many other conditions.

Dementia is another illness that is statistically growing in the community. Saxon Care has on its staff Dementia Champions who provide a wealth of knowledge and training to all staff. Our philosophy is to not allow our clients to “suffer” with Dementia but to live happy and safe lives with it.

Our End of Life service offers compassion, respect and understanding during this very important yet distressing time. Having one of our experienced carers help with the day to day tasks or being there at night means that your loved one has someone they can trust by their side at all times, allowing you quality time with your family and make the most of the time you have together.

Our carers can provide personal care, medication assistance, meal and fluid support as well as companionship day or night whatever you feel your needs are. They will monitor any developments and liaise with any medical staff or family members to ensure that you or your loved one is comfortable and well looked after.

We offer a local service to the Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Calne and surrounding areas and work closely with General Practitioners and District Nursing teams to ensure continuity of care and support.
